Well i joined this book club. It meets once a month. This was our first book. I do love to read and can get quite lost in a book but with my busy schedule this last month and all my other things I am involved with I just didn't get the book read. I go tonight to the meeting and I have no clue what the book is about and I know I won't have time to read any of it. In my defense I really did try to read it, I got as far as Chapter 1. If anyone has read this and would like to give me some "notes" I would appreciate it! The life of a mom is always busy that is for sure!! :)

Maybe after you hear their discussion, you will WANT to read it. For me, if a book sits around and I don't get past the first couple of chapters, it's a good sign that it isn't the book for me.
This sounds like FUN!! (Well, other than the fact you hadn't had a chance to read the book yet! OH MY!!). Would you mind sharing how your book club works? What do meetings look like?? I would LOVE to be a part of something like this!

It's pretty casual. We meet once a month. The leader(the person who started it and we have it at her house)did a poll on what type of books we would like to read. This was the first one. We have a month to read the book and then we meet to discuss it, have snacks and just chat. :) She usually emails out a list of questions that would be good to discuss but its basically whatever you want to talk about regarding the book. :) They are fun! You should look for one in your area or start one of your own. :)
